Why I started The H.I.V.E

I started The H.I.V.E, Higher Innovation Vehicle Empowerment, because I saw how many people were held back from becoming confident, capable drivers, often for one simple reason: they did not have a car to practice in. Driving is a basic skill that changes lives and strengthens communities, and I did not want a lack of access to stand in anyone's way. So I built a safe, welcoming place where anyone can gain real confidence behind the wheel, at their own pace, in a comfortable environment.

Do I need a permit or license to book?

No. The H.I.V.E is a practice simulator, so you can build skills before you have a permit, while you are studying for one, or any time you want more seat time.

Is this for brand-new or nervous drivers?

Both. You can start from zero, or use it to work through specific situations that make you nervous, like highway merging, night driving, or bad weather.

Do I need to bring a car?

No car needed. We provide the simulator. Just bring yourself and comfortable shoes.

How long is a session?

You can book a 30-minute or 60-minute session, or save with a package of 3 or 5 sessions.

What is the difference between the simulator and the online course?

The simulator is hands-on driving practice in person. The $29.99 Digital Permit Readiness Course is self-paced online study to help you prepare for the written permit test.

How do I get the online course after I buy it?

After you purchase the course, we email your private login within a few hours. You then study online at your own pace, on any device, with a full 6 months of access.

Can I reschedule?

Yes. Contact us immediately. We will do our best to move your session to a time that works better for you to avoid cancellation fees. No refunds without management's approval or proper cancellation notice.
